The Runtime Integrity Engine and Regret-Based Learning Loop*

MoraLoop provides the missing epistemic friction for Large Language Models. Modeled on the human Anterior Cingulate Cortex and metacognitive processes, it introduces a 9-step recursive feedback loop — allowing agents to Detect, Recall, Evaluate, and Adjust.

It allows LLMs and human agents to validate outputs against defined constraints and historical failures before execution—“perceive moral deviation”—and self-correct in real-time, without the need for offline retraining.
